My art experience began as a young girl in Iowa, sketching pictures of my horse, Penny. I’m inspired when I’m out in the woods or mountains, and especially the ocean we’re so lucky to live near.  I can’t decide what I prefer to paint—texture, light and dark contrast, colors, or composition. They’re all so satisfying.
