My art experience began as a young girl in Iowa, sketching pictures of my horse, Penny. I’m inspired when I’m out in the woods or mountains, and especially the ocean we’re so lucky to live near.  I can’t decide what I prefer to paint—texture, light and dark contrast, colors, or composition. They’re all so satisfying. Reception: Meet the artist on Saturday, November 29, 12:30 to 3:00 Pianist:  Shanna Carlson Castro Valley Center for the Arts 19501 Redwood Road, Castro Valley, CA 94546 Bev’s art exhibit is open to the public at all CFA performances until December 15, 2025.  Free parking.
